Too funny not to share

I was looking up a Danish word on the internet and somehow I came across this thread where someone was asking on Yahoo Answers how to say I love you in Danish. And while most of the replies were correct, here was one stand-out winner:

I love you is:
"Ish livee dish" (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling i just now how to pronounce it)

OK. Two things. 1. Wrong language, idiot and 2. Who could POSSIBLY think that spelling is correct???????????? It's "Ich liebe dich", you moron, and that's German.

Hahahaha....love the experts lurking on Yahoo! It was a good laugh. See for yourself ---> Click Here.

new hair (again)

If you remember, a while back I blondified my hair and it was a whole "thing" because it took 5 hours to get it to not look like this:

I had mentioned that the next hair crisis I would encounter would be roots. And as you can see, I did indeed have a full blown root emergency on my hands.

So I got some blonde-be-gone this weekend and did the deed MYSELF. Took me 10 minutes.

I feel normal again.

Chinese night

Ok, so Chinese night didn't get quite the same attention as Mexican fiesta night simply because I was sick and refused to put it off until I felt better. As a result, everything suffered because it was just sort of slapped together at the last minute (except the food of course - lemon chicken, lo mein, egg rolls - YUM). I had intended on making colorful lanterns and dragons, we were going to use chopsticks, have the music going in the background. We were even going to make our own take out boxes...the whole nine yards. Oh well. Next time.
