p.s. don't let the fact that it is actually called "princess cake" fool you, he's all man :)



And here's another one I decided to post because, although old, it's still good. This is by far the coolest thing that I learned while working for a caterer in college....tuxedo wearing strawberries. I wish I would have made them again this year for Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day dinner

Andreas' mom, Lisbeth joined us for the weekend. It's always so nice to have her here.



My masterpiece for Valentine's dinner: Filet Mignon with balsamic glaze, asparagus, rosemary roasted potatoes, Parmesan puffs, and salad. YUM!

p.s.

...the red velvet cupcakes did NOT turn out red. SO disappointing. They were good, and evil (because I'm sure they have about 1000 calories per serving), but not red.
