happy syttende mai

Today is syttende mai, which means May seventeenth, Norwegian Constitution day. We are eating hotdogs wrapped in lefse with fried onions and strawberry cake tonight to celebrate.

When I talk about Andreas, I always refer to him as Swedish. But, if you ask him, he'll most likely say he's Norwegian. His father is Norwegian and his mother is Swedish. So, we get to observe traditions for 3 countries (the good ol' USA too). That's a lot of celebrating! Can't complain!

So to all you Norwegians out there, Happy Syttende Mai!!!!
