In my last post I talked about the picnic blanket I made for Emma and how I thought that I might try to make a picnic basket out of the leftover fabric. Well, I decided that I would try a practice run on a much smaller scale, just to see how badly I'd screw it up.
Turns out, I've got skills! I was able to make a small basket without much of a problem. So now I feel that I am ready to tackle the much larger picnic basket. The inner lining of the basket is made from felt so that's what helps it keep it's shape.
